I know people don’t usually read long posts on the internet—
but if you care about the future of All in Charisma, please read this.
In September, I announced that I couldn’t afford to continue producing the series in audio.
The first audiobook had sold fewer than a hundred copies.
It broke my heart, but I had to face reality: All in Charisma, as much as I loved it, didn’t seem viable.
I figured it was time to move on (at least for audio). After all, this isn’t a typical fantasy.
A main character with a cane and a top hat? Not exactly mainstream fare.
But then the messages started coming in.
Not hundreds, admittedly—but passionate ones. Readers telling me All in Charisma might be my best work.
Some even offered ideas for how to save it.
I explained that it costs around $9,000 to produce each audiobook, and Book 1 had brought in maybe $600.
That math doesn’t work for an indie author.
Still…the idea refused to die.
Maybe, I thought, I hadn’t really given this series the chance it deserved.
It’s niche. It’s strange. But maybe that’s what makes it special.
So here we are.
The good news:
All in Charisma Book 2: The Frozen North is coming to audio.
It will again be narrated by Rob Brinkmann, who’s generously donating an extra 15 minutes of bonus audio for all supporters.
He’s set for delivery in March 2026.
The bad news:
Producing it is still a massive climb.
Each audiobook costs roughly three to four times more to make than one of my typical books.
That’s because the All in Charisma books are long—twice the length of a standard novel—and inflation has made everything more expensive.
In total, we need to raise $9,000 to fully fund the audio for The Frozen North and The Dragon and the Sparrow Part 2.
Every penny of this campaign goes toward that goal.
I’ve added signed paperbacks, collector hardbacks, and exclusive bonuses to make this possible—because if we can even raise half, that’s proof that the story still has life.
If you’ve made it this far, thank you. Context matters, and your support truly determines whether this series continues in audio.
Below, you’ll find every way you can help—whether through digital bundles, signed editions, or collector sets.
And if you’re not into audio, no problem—there’s still something here for you.
Together, we can make sure All in Charisma doesn’t fade out before it's even taken its first step.
